Swedish Junkboy made some awesome pixel rerenderings of current and classic video games. I particulary like the many insight jokes and how he suggested old school game mechanics and aesthetics for current games. When we see his Pixel rendering for Brütal Legend (above) he also gives a salute to creaotor Tim Schaefer’s Monkey Island roots (And possibly the wish that Brütal Legend didnt suck so bad, but that is my reading ). Those little tidbits make it not only fun to try to recognize games but also bring a delicious layer of contemplation to the  project that make it that much more fun. I just love stuff like that!
